Mark your calendars for Friday, January 24th! The Silverthread Outdoor Club will be hosting one of the South Fork skate parties & bonfire events at Rickel park as a fundraiser for our club. The fire pits will be going strong, there will be a DJ with good tunes, and we will serve refreshments as our fundraiser and way to serve the community (think crockpots of soup, chili, cornbread/rolls, etc. The town of South Fork is donating 100% of the proceeds we raise to our club--thank you TOSF!).

On that note, it takes a village for an event to be successful! We need committed volunteers to sign up to help. Please contact president@silverthreaders.org to sign up to be a part of the serving team (we need approximately 5 volunteers to help prepare food ahead of time, and approximately 6+ to serve at the event, split into two 1.5 hour shifts). Can't serve? No problem. Bring your friends and come support our town and our club just by attending...and let's heckle some skaters! This is a wonderful opportunity and winter activity that we can be a part of as a club and serve our community this winter season.
